2025 Fundraising Efforts

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Discover Doylestown operates with a lean budget that depends heavily on community engagement and participation. Our funding model is unique — and a testament to the dedication of our volunteers and supporters.

• The majority of our annual operating budget comes directly from the events we host throughout the year, including the Doylestown Arts Festival, seasonal celebrations, and community gatherings. These events not only bring people together and support the community, but they are our primary source of income. That means their success is essential to our ability to serve the community year-round.

• A portion of our funding comes from grants, which we pursue strategically to support specific programs and market Doylestown as a destination outside the County. While valuable, grants can be competitive and often restricted in use.

• The smallest portion of our budget is supported through memberships, reflecting the partnership between Discover Doylestown and the direct financial support we receive from the community.

This funding structure highlights just how critical our events are — not only as cultural and economic drivers but as financial lifelines for our organization. It also underscores the importance of volunteers, event sponsors, and attendees whose involvement directly sustains our mission.
