The Travis Manion Foundation will hold its 11th annual 9/11 Heroes Run starting at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 at Fonthill Castle, 130 E. Swamp Road, Doylestown.

The Doylestown race is the oldest 9/11 Heroes Run in the world. The 9/11 Heroes Run, now a worldwide, annual event held in more than 51 locations across the United States and abroad, began in Doylestown in 2007 to unite the community in remembrance and appreciation of the sacrifices of the heroes of the Sept. 11 attacks and in the wars since. The Doylestown race has grown from 200 runners in its inaugural year to more than 2,700 runners and walkers in the 2016 race.
